Brevard School Board passes a "No Furries" policy that basically outlaws Mascot uniforms.
In May of 2023, the Brevard School Board passed a strict new student dress code policy. The policy included a new rule that student "Dress shall not emulate non-human characteristics". This rule was in response to several unverified and unsubstantiated reports of "furries" being present in Brevard Schools. These "reports", of course, stemmed from harmless behaviors of students wearing headbands with cat ears, or elementary school students "barking and meowing" at each other...things all normal children do at some point...they are...after all...children.

Brevard School Board member Matt Susin exposed for misogynistic statements and attempted cover-up.
At the May 14th, 2024 Brevard School Board Meeting two public commenters confronted Mr. Susin with the allegations in the deposition. The first public commenter read from the deposition how Mr. Susin and Mr. Tobia talked about Ms. Jenkins having "big boobs" and how she "wore tight shirts on purpose to get attention." Mr. Susin and Mr. Tobia also referred to Ms. Jenkins as "a whore" during their conversations according to the sworn witness in the deposition. The second public commenter brought to light how Mr. Susin and Mr. Tobia conspired to illegally delete texts and remove damaging information from the public records according to the witness in the deposition.
Brevard School Board Members threaten Public Commenters

Public Speaker exposes new Superintendent Dr. Rendell

Apparently, the speaker pretended to be a Christian Extremist at the Meet and Greet and was able to convince Dr. Rendell to answer 2 questions. The answers provided by Dr. Rendell to this speaker's questions are frightening.
